This year the country is set to celebrate its 75th Republic Day on Friday, January 26 in New Delhi. Preparations are in full swing for this special day and the grand parade will be the main attraction.

In this program, the President and Vice President of India, the Prime Minister of India, and central ministers participate. Invited Heads of Nations and several other dignitaries also attend the Republic Day programme.

Here are steps to buy tickets online:
Step 1: Visit the Ministry of Defence’s official web portal at www.aamantran.mod.gov.in.
Step 2: Login or create a new account.
Step 3: Fill in personal details such as name, birthdate, mobile number, etc. Verify the authentication code sent to registered mobile number (OTP).
Step 4: Choose the desired event from the options that include Full-Dress Rehearsal (FDR) Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Beating Retreat.
Step 5: For verification purpose, provide attendee information and upload an original Photo ID.
Step 6: Secure tickets by completing the online payment process.

Step 1: Visit an authorised offline outlet or designated ticket counter for Republic Day events.
Step 2: Provide identity proof and fill out a physical form with personal details including name, birth date, mobile number, etc.
Step 3: Choose the desired event from the options that include FDR Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Beating the Retreat
Step 4: For verification purposes, provide attendee information and provide a photocopy of the original Photo ID.
Step 5: Secure tickets by completing the payment process.
