RBI Recruitment 2018: The preliminary examination results for the Grade B Officers Preliminary Examinations has been declared by the Reserve Bank of India on September 5. The results of the Phase-I for Grade B (General) (DR) Paper I examination for Grade B for DEPR, and Paper I for Grade B for DSIM has been declared. The candidates who have appeared for the examination can check their results on the official website of RBI. The names of the shortlisted candidates for the Phase II examinations are available in pdf format. The Phase II examination are available in the pdf format. The phase II is scheduled to be held on September 15 and 16.

RBI Recruitment 2018: How to check the results?
a. Log on to the official website of the Reserve Bank, rbi.org.in
b. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and go to the “Opportunities@RBI” link
c. Take your mouse over to the “Current Vacancies” tab on the top of the page and a drop-down list will appear. Select the “Result” option from there.
d. Click on the result link 
e. A pdf with selected names of candidates will appear
f. Download it, and take a print out for further reference. 

Some details about RBI
The Reserve Bank of India was established on April 1, 1935 in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
The Central Office of the Reserve Bank was initially established in Calcutta but was permanently moved to Mumbai in 1937. The Central Office is where the Governor sits and where policies are formulated.
Though originally privately owned, since nationalisation in 1949, the Reserve Bank is fully owned by the Government of India.

Central Board
The Reserve Bank's affairs are governed by a central board of directors. The board is appointed by the Government of India in keeping with the Reserve Bank of India Act.
