Ram Temple Ayodhya Darshan Timings: Day after the 'Pran Pratishtha' celebration for the Ram Lalla idol at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, massive crowd of devotees broke through security lines on Tuesday for a 'Darshan' of Shri Ram Lalla. Crowds of impatient people broke over police lines as Ram Bhakts began flocking to the temple. Security was increased at the temple, which saw a large influx of worshippers at its main gate beginning around 3 a.m.

The temple was accessible to the public today, one day after the spectacular 'Pran Pratishtha' celebration for the Ram Lalla idol.

Additional Director General of Police (ADG) of Lucknow Zone, Piyush Mordia appealed to devotees to stay patient, and said that the darshan is going on as usual but since a large number of devotees have gathered the process is taking time.

The ADG said speaking to reporters on Tuesday, "Darshan is going on as usual. However, since devotees have gathered in large numbers it is taking time. We want people not to lose patience. They need to wait patiently. Those who are standing ahead will get the chance to have darshan first." 

The ADG said, "The way to the exit is separate. People are coming out from a separate route. Our entry and exit gates are defined."

The senior cop appealed to the devotees to follow police directives.

Do not use mobile phones inside temple premises: ADG

The Additional Director General of Police (ADG) of Lucknow Zone asked devotees not to click photos on their mobile phones during 'darshan'.

He said, "Please do not to use mobile phones inside temple premises. This causes delays in darshan. There are uncountable photos of Lord Ram on the internet. We want to ensure darshan for everyone."

Regarding the traffic arrangements in the city, he said that heavy vehicles have been diverted for a few days so that people do not face difficulties at the city crossings.

Ayodhya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Darshan Timings

According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Trust, the darshan timings have been changed to 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. In between, the temple will remain shut from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

As per the Trust, Ram lalla will be offered fruits and milk every hour. And the deity will wear red colored clothes on Tuesday, green on Wednesday, yellow on Thursday, light yellow or cream colored clothes on Friday, blue on Saturday and pink colored clothes on Sunday. 

For the new idol, Ram Mandir Trust has got clothes prepared on handloom from the Heritage and Handweaving Revival Charitable Trust of Pune, and 10 to 15 lakh artisans from across the country have been involved in the weaving deities clothes.

After the completion of Pran Pratishtha, preparations have been made for cleaning, worship and adornment of the sanctum sanctorum in Brahma Muhurta from around 3 am everyday. From 3.30 am to 4 am, both the idols and Shri Yantra of the Lord will be awakened by mantras. After this, there'll be Mangala Aarti. 

Darshan will begin from 8 am.

Bhog Aarti will be held at around 1 pm in the afternoon. There temple will remain closed for two hours from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Darshan will restart again from 3 pm, and continue till 10 pm. Meanwhile, evening aarti will take place at seven in the evening.
