Rajya Sabha Proceedings Today: On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, certain important businesses will be discussed in the Rajya Sabha. The proceedings will start from 11 AM. Certain ministers will lay the papers on the table, the report of the department related to parliamentary standing committee on transport, tourism and culture has to be presented.

The papers to be laid on the table today by the following ministers entered in the separate list:

1) Bhupinder Yadav for Ministry of Labour and Employment

2) Nityanand Rai for Ministry of Home Affairs

3) Rameswar Teli for Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas

4) Kaushal Kishore for Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs

In addition to this, T.G. Venkatesh and K.C. Venugopal will present the 296th report of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture on 'Role of Highways in Nation Building'.

Nityanand Rai, Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs will make statement regarding the implementation of recommendations or observations contained in the 220th report of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs on 'Working Conditions of Non-Border Guarding Central Armed Police Forces (Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force and National Security Guard)".

Apart from this, Rai will also make his statement on the status of implementation of recommendations or observations contained in the 221st report of the Department-related Parliamentary Committee on Home Affairs on 'Working Conditions in Border Guarding Central Armed Police Forces (Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal and Assam Rifles)".

At 12 noon, the questions entered in separate list will have to be answered.

As a part of the legislative business, there will be further consideration on the motion - "That the Bill to amend Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, as passed by Lok Sabha, to be taken into consideration" passed by Smriti Zubin Irani on July 27, 2021.
