PMUY: The PM Narendra Modi's Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana which is aimed at providing free LPG gas connections to poorer section may give the BJP an upper hand in the state. As per government data, as many as 25,64,584 connections had been released between 31-03-2017 and 26-11-2018. The data showed that the number of connections released as on March 31st, 2017 was 17,22,694 which grew to 42,87,278 on November 26, 2018.

Saubhagya Scheme: The Power Minister R K Singh has recently said that the government aims to achieve 100% household electrification by December-end. The government data also showed progress in this direction. If we talk about Rajasthan in particular, 6,26,471 households are yet to be electrified out of the 1,29,44,065 households. The data claims that the state has achieved 95 per cent electrification as of now.

GDP: If compared to last two 15 years, the state has maintained a steady GDP growth rate in the last five year. Though the Centre has adopted a new series taking the base year 2011-12, the state has witnessed a growth rate slightly above 5% throughout the party's tenure. However, based on the 2004-05 series, the state had achieved a growth rate of 5 per cent between 2008-13.

Employment: Jobs has been one of the key concerns not only for Modi government but also for the BJP ruled states. Though Rajasthan has been facing an employment crisis, it has registered a growth in manufacturing employment led by contract workers. According to a Mint report, contract workers accounted for 39.6 per cent of factory workers in the state in 2015-16.
