RBSE result 2018 date: Class 10 examinations results of the Board of Secondary Education in Rajasthan will be released by the second week of May 2018. The Class 10 examinations  results will be available on the official website of Rajasthan Board  www.rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajresults.nic.in.

According to media reports, 10,82,972 students appeared for the class 10 examinations that were held between March 7 and April 4, 2018 and they would all be anxiously waiting to see how they performed in the RBSE result 2018. To stop students from cheating the education board had identified 725 centres as sensitive and made elaborate security arrangements. Closed-circuit television  or CCTV cameras were installed  at these centres. The board also  recorded the process of opening of the question paper covers, distribution.

Last year, 10,72,799 students appeared in the Class 10 examinations. At least 611,689 boys and 461,110 girls appeared for the exam last year. The overall pass percentage of Class 10 exam was 78.96. 

For the Class 12 exams in 2018,  there were 826,278 students enrolled. Out of these, 42,665 students registered for the commerce stream, and 246,254 registered for science and 537,359 for humanities stream. The exams ended on April 2. Out of the 565,930 candidates who appeared in the exam in Class 12 humanities stream, 89.05% students cleared the exams last year. Girls had outdone boys with 91.35% pass percentage,  87.04% boys passed.

In science and commerce streams, girls pass percentage was 93.4 and 95.5, respectively, against boys 90.03 and 89.45, respectively.

Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) 
Established in 1957,  the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) regulates and promotes school education in Rajasthan. More than 6,000 plus affiliated  schools  under RBSE annually conducts Secondary School Examination and Senior Secondary Examination for academic evaluation of 10 and 10+2 level school students. In addition, the education board also holds Varishtha Upadhayay Parisksha at 10+2 level, for promotion of Sanskrit language and Cultural Studies.
