Railway recruitment 2018:  The year 2018 might bring good news to many government job aspirants, as the Indian Railways is on a massive recruitment drive. Railway Jobs Notification 2018 has been sent and all those eligible candidates who want a Railway job can apply if they are qualified enough. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has notified on its website about Group-D, Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technicians posts. Interested candidates have to go through the details given on the website before applying. Candidates can visit official website indianrailways.gov.in or rrbonlinereg.in to submit their application form. The job openings include 62,907 group D and 26,502 posts for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technicians.

Group D jobs include Track Maintainer Grade IV (Trackman), Gateman, Points-man, Helpers in Electrical / Engineering / Mechanical / Signal and Telecommunication departments and Porters.

Educational qualification:

(1) 10th pass /Matriculation (or) ITI from institutions recognised by National Council of Vocational Training  (NCVT) / SCVT or equivalent National Apprenticeship certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Those awaiting results of the prescribed educational/technical qualification will not be eligible apply.

Examination Fee: Rs 250  for SC / ST / ex-servicemen / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Class Category Candidates. All other candidates including OBC category have to pay non-refundable fee of Rs 500. The exam fee can be made Online using internet banking or debit/credit cards. A candidate can also pay

Offline through SBI Bank Challan or Post Office Challan.

Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification.

All the eligible candidates have to undergo a Computer Based Test on specified date, time and venue. All the details will be in e-call letter that one can download from the websites of RRBs.
