Railway recruitment 2018: The Indian Railways has invited applications for 62,907 Grade IV posts. The Railway Board earlier announced that the new recruits will come under the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix.  RRB has invited online application from various candidates for the posts of Track Manager (Trackman), Helpers, Gateman and Pointsman. The details of the online application for the RRB Group D Railway Recruitment started from February 28 (revised), 2018. The last date of filling online application form was earlier March 12, 2018, later it has been extended to March 31, 2018.  The RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 Notification was published on Employment News on Feb 10, 2018. The Ministry of Railways has released a revised application form and there were some changes in age limit, education level, exam language and the exam fees.

The Indian Railways has extended age relaxation by 2 years for the Group D candidates.  According to the new notification, for non-exempt candidates have to pay Rs 500 examination fees.  From the amount, Rs 400 will be refunded if a candidate appears for the exam.
Now, question papers for the examination will be provided in 15 languages.

Educational Qualifications criteria for Railway Group-D(Level-1): Candidates have to pass class 10 or ITI or equivalent. RRB has made ITI qualification optional now.

RRB Recruitment 2018: Salary structure of Group D posts

For Group D recruits, Level-1 of 7th Pay CPC Pay Matrix with an initial payment of Rs 18, 000 plus other allowances will be applied.

The candidates can apply in the Official Website – indianrailways.gov.in or otherRRBs Official websites. 

Candidates have to choose the payment mode -- they can either pay online or offline.

For online payments, a candidate can use net- banking,credit card, debit card and for offine payments one can pay through challans such as Post Office Challan to complete the payment process.

The applicants making payment offline, confirmation may take an hour.
