Railway jobs 2018: Online applications have been invited from the Railway Recruitment Board to fill posts of 1,120 sub inspectors and over 8000 constables with the Railway Protection Force. Eligible and interested candidates (both male and female) can apply for both the jobs. The candidates can submit online form latest by June 30 at the Indian Railways' official website, which is indianrailways.gov.in.
 
Educational qualification/Age
 
RPF Sub inspector: Candidates should be graduate from a recognised university. They should be in the age group of 20-25 years.
  
RPF constable: Candidates should be SSLC/Matric from a recognised board. They should be in the age group of 18-25 years. 
 
The age relaxation will be considered as per the government norms.

For both RPF Sub inspector and constable last date: June 30 
Tentative date for Computer-based Test: September and October 2018 
 
Application fee
 

For RPF Sub inspector, candidates have to pay Rs 500 for general category and Rs 200 for SC/ST, Schedule Tribe, female, ex-servicemen and minorities 
 
For RPF constable, candidates have to pay Rs 400 for general category and Rs 200 for SC/ST, Schedule Tribe, female, ex-servicemen and minorities 
 
Salary: RPF Sub inspector will get an initial pay of Rs 35,400+ allowances, while RPF constable will be entitled to get an initial pay of Rs 21,700+ allowances.

Selection process: Candidates will have to undergo Computer Based Test, and those who will qualify the test will have to take physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement Test. Document verification for both the posts will take place in the end.
