Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was seen in a new look with a haircut trimmed beard on Wednesday just ahead of a lecture at his alma mater - University of Cambridge. Rahul landed in London on Tuesday for a week-long tour of the UK during which he will deliver a lecture on 'Learning to listen in the 21st century' at the varsity.

Rahul sported a flowing salt-and-pepper beard all through the recently concluded Bharat Jodo Yatra. This is the first time when he has trimmed his beard.

Rahul Gandhi plans to hold closed-door sessions on "Big Data and Democracy" and "India-China relations" with Professor Shruti Kapila, an Indian-origin Fellow, Tutor and Director of Studies at the university's Corpus Christi College and Co-Director of the Global Humanities Initiative at Cambridge.
