Raazi box office collection: The Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Raazi’ has made a mark with lifetime collection of Rs 120.26 crore at the domestic box office. As the film produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions’ enters its 5th week, there is no doubt that Meghna Gulzar directed movie will continue to rake in the big bucks. Despite facing stiff competition from new releases, including Rajinikanth's Kaala, both on regional and international front, the film's satisfactory performance has given Bollywood’s female stars much needed boost that women-centric films can also ink a box-office success story.
 
Talking about female protagonists making a mark in the male-dominated Bollywood, it can also be said that Meghna Gulzar's ‘Raazi’ has not just bowled over the critics, but has also proved to be a commercial success at the box-office. Alia Bhatt too has been hailed for her emergence as a special acting talent on screen. 
 
Raazi is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, and is stated to be inspired by real events, wherein, Alia Bhatt plays the role of an Indian girl who got married to a Pakistani Army officer, played by Vicky Kaushal, to spy for her country. 
 
In the wake of the film’s successful run at the box-office, the team reportedly celebrated by holding a big celebratory event. Leading lady Alia, in a post on social media, said, “Words can’t do justice for the gratitude we feel for all the love you’ve given our little film.”
