Raazi box office collection: The Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Raazi’ has made a mark with a lifetime collection of Rs 123.17 crore at the domestic box office. As the film produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions’ enters its 7th week in cinemas, there is no doubt that Meghna Gulzar directed movie has continued to rake in the big bucks. The film has managed to hold its ground despite new releases. Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the latest figures.

Talking about female protagonists making a mark in the male-dominated Bollywood, it can also be said that Meghna Gulzar directed Raazi has not just bowled over the critics but has also proved to be a commercial success at the box-office. Alia Bhatt too has been hailed for her emergence as a special acting talent on screen. 

Raazi is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, and is stated to be inspired by real events. Alia Bhatt plays the role of an Indian girl who got married to a Pakistani Army officer, played by Vicky Kaushal, to spy for her country. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel 'Calling Sehmat'. Raazi hit the screen on May 11, 2018.

Alia Bhatt will also be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji's directorial 'Brahmastra' soon. Karan Johar announced the movie to be the first part of the superhero trilogy. The film will also cast Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role besides TV actress Mouni Roy in a supporting act.

She will be seen in Ranveer Singh starrer 'Gully Boy' which is helmed by Zoya Akhtar besides 'Kalank' which stars Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles, reports Zeenews.com.
