Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off the Palace Queen Humsafar Express between Mysuru and Udaipur, and also inaugurated electrification of railway line between Mysuru and KSR Bengaluru.

The Prime Minister also visited Shravanabelagola for the Bahubali Mahamasthakabhisheka Mahotsava 2018. He inaugurated new steps carved at Vindhyagiri Hill by ASI, besides unveiling the Bahubali General Hospital.

Addressing the gathering at Shravanabelagola, Modi said saints and seers from our land have always served society and made a positive difference. 

"The strength of our society is that we have always changed with the times and adapted well to new contexts," he said, adding that it is our duty to provide good quality and affordable healthcare to the poor.
