PM Modi chairs crucial Cabinet, CCEA meeting: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a crucial Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) and Union Cabinet meet on Thursday, November 10 at 10.30 a.m.

Though the agenda of the meet is not clear, discussions are expected to be held on important matters, especially the cabinet can bring a proposal to lay a new railway line. 

In this proposal, a proposal for doubling of Gorakhpur to Valmikinagar railway track can be brought. Apart from this, the proposal for laying a new railway line from Gunupur to Thiruvalli in Odisha can also be approved. There will also be discussion on improving inter-ministerial coordination. 

Apart from this, the issue of Chintan Shivir and the report card will also be discussed in the meeting of the Council of Ministers. 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah presided over the ‘Chintan Shivir’, whose objective was to prepare an action plan for the implementation of ‘Vision 2047’ and ‘Panch Pran’ announced in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech, an official statement said.

PM Modi addressed the ‘Chintan Shivir’ through video conferencing on October 28, 2022.

Development of an ecosystem for cybercrime management, modernisation of police forces, increase in usage of information technology in the criminal justice system, land border management and coastal security and other internal security issues were discussed at the event.
