Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a branch of the Indian Railways has constructed the perfect package for people keen on visiting the land of valleys this summer. IRCTC is providing the customers a package which includes an itinerary for six nights and seven days. The key visits under this package will be Ladakh, Sham Valley, Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. IRCTC went on to their official Twitter to announce about the dates and other details with regard to the Ladakh tour. 

The Ladakh tour will commence from New Delhi, with the commercial airline carried GoAir as the service provider for transportation. The tours are scheduled for the dates 11, 16 and 29 in May and 8, 13, 19 and 30 for June, 2019. The charges for that IRCTC will levy on the customer for this tour will include air tickets (Delhi-Leh-Delhi round trip), accommodation in hotels, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), guide tours and travel insurance. However, the package does not include the expenses of on board meals in GoAir, room services and additional sight seeing. 

According to the occupancy requirement of the travelling party, the charges on the package will differ. Interested individuals can choose the package according to their needs and pay accordingly. For example, single occupancy will cost Rs 57,500 while occupancy with a child bed will cost Rs 43,100.

IRCTC also mentions that since the tour is at high altitudes, individuals who have health issues should either avoid or get a health check up done prior to the tour. Moreover, children and the elderly are required to be accompanied by some family member.
