Petrol price in India rose 11 paise and that of diesel was hiked by 17 paise on July 6, 2017.

It has been nearly 20 days since oil companies in India starting changing prices of petrol and diesel on a daily basis calling it dynamic pricing. 

As on July 6, 2017, petrol in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai costs Rs 63.19 per litre, Rs 66.23, Rs 74.41 and Rs 65.58 per litre, respectively. 

Price of diesel in New Delhi on July 6, 2017 was Rs 53.61 per litre, Rs 55.90 per litre in Kolkata, Rs 58.93 per litre in Mumbai and Rs 56.43 per litre in Chennai.

Petrol prices in cities like Faridabad stood at Rs 63.46, Gurgaon at Rs 63.21, Noida and Ghaziabad at Rs 66.67 and Rs 66.55 per litre.
