Ashutosh Gowariker's much-awaited movie starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in key roles hit the theatres on December 6. And, the day 1 box office collection is out now. Famous movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that Panipat has recorded low numbers on Day 1. "Reports are positive and its business hopefully should see a turnaround on Day 2 and 3. The day 1 collection of Panipat stands at Rs 4.12 cr. Adarsh says, "Showcasing at multiplexes affected due to excessive run time [close to 3 hours]."

Taran Adarsh had reviewed the movie before the official release. Adarsh said Panipat is a gripping and enthralling film that salutes the bravery of Marathas.
