Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu starrer October, Irrfan Khan starrer Blackmail,   Rani Mukerji starrer Hichki, Tiger Shroff  starrer Baaghi 2, and Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz starrer Raid were some of the movies that ruled the box offices in the recent months. However, even as other movies logged moderate performances at the box office across the country, Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 2 grossed an unusual sum overall. Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu starrer October box office collection, which put up a great performance over the weekend, has reached a total of 25.56 crore so far in the domestic market.  
 

Irrfan Khan dark comedy Blackmail has wowed the critics and analysts alike during the opening week. However,  it has shown a moderate performance at the box office. So far, the movie has garnered 19.11 crore. Blackmail collection during the opening weekend had been at Rs 11.22 crore. The movie has been applauded by audience and critics for delving into the different genre.
 
While Baaghi 2  appealed to youngsters, Blackmail has appeal among discerning movie watchers. However, in terms of revenue collection, Baaghi 2 box office collection has beaten all other films. Its collection topped Rs 155.65 crore. Rani Mukerji's recent release Hichki, in which the actress seen as an aspiring teacher who suffers from Tourette Syndrome, has so far garnered 43.95 crore at the box office. 
 
Raj Kumar Gupta's Raid has managed to lure the audience to the theatres even in its 5th week despite stiff competition from films such as 'Baaghi 2' and 'October'.  The movie, in which Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz are in the lead roles, has managed box office collection of Rs 102.11 crore. The movie on black money and corruption revolves around an incident of a raid in history involving an incorruptible IT officer Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn), and a political leader Tauji (Saurabh Shukla).
