NTA JEE Main 2020 syllabus released: The National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body for various higher education courses, has released the syllabus for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). JEE is a national-level test for admission to engineering colleges. The candidates may find details regarding the NTA JEE Main 2020 syllabus on the official websites -  jeemain.nic.in or nta.ac.in.

JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board. The candidates should have secured at least 75 percent marks in the 12th class examination, or should be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates, the qualifying marks would be 65 percent in the 12th class examination. Through this exam, admission into engineering and architecture have been done.

JEE Main exam is of total 360 marks and each question carries four marks and for every wrong answer one mark is deducted. The candidates should go through the syllabus for detailed topics. 

JEE Main 2020 application process will start from September 2 and the exam will be held between January 6 and 11. According to NTA statistics, a total of 9,35,741 students appeared for the entrance test in April session. However, this year the number of candidates is expected to be higher, as candidates grom foreign countries are also expected to appear for the exam.

NTA is given the charge of conducting JEE Main from 2019 onwards. Earlier, JEE Main Examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
