The opposition alliance, INDIA, is gheraoing the central government on the Manipur unrest issue.

After his membership of the Parliament was reinstated, Rahul spoke in the Parliament for the first time on Wednesday, blaming the BJP government for the Manipur crisis.

The opposition parties have often accused the PM of deliberately running away from a serious debate about the Manipur crisis.

Shah on Wednesday defended the government and called the No-confidence Motion politically motivated.

He said that the people have full faith in the BJP government, and the Congress did nothing for the Northeast region when it was in power.

He also recalled the time of the PV Narsimha Rao government underwent a No-Confidence Motion and the Congress allegedly bribed the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha members to vote in favour of their government.
