New rules from December 1: A new set of rules comes into force from today, December 1. These changes will have a direct impact on the daily life of commoners. Given below is the list of new rules:

Indian Railways New Time table: Indian Railways has made changes in the train schedule due to fog and from today, December 1, 2022. The trains will operate as per new timings from today.

Bank Holidays: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a list of bank holidays for the month of December. Several bank branches will remain closed in various states owing to festivities. The banks in India will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the month of December. However, RBI has clearly indicated that this will not be uniformly applicable across India and will differ in all states and regions.

Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices: Air traffic could become cheaper as Oil Making companies (OMC) have slashed ATF prices. The new rates are applicable from today. 

Punjab National Bank (PNB) ATM rules: PNB, in order to curb frauds, has revised the ATM rules on withdrawal through bank’s debit card.

Jeevan Pramaan (life certificate): Starting December 1, pensioners cannot submit their Jeevan Pramaan digital life certificate. The deadline for the submission ended on November 30. 

LPG prices: Oil marketing companies have not revised the LPF prices (both commercial and domestic). OMCs had in November cut the rates of 19-kg commercial tanks by Rs 115.
