According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), less than 400 cases are being recorded in the city on a daily basis. Apart from that, 80-90 per cent of the beds are occupied in the covid jumbo centers.

However, BMC is of the view that the target of 100 per cent vaccination will be achieved by the end of this month. Keeping this in view, Mayor Kishori Pednekar has given this statement of unlocking Mumbai by the end of February 2022.

That means that gyms, cinema halls, restaurants, all will get permission for 100% occupancy. There will be no time restriction.

Apart from this, there is a cap on the number of guests in marriage or any other function (more than 200 guests are not allowed) that will also be removed.

The business will be back on track, the malls will be back in glory. Pubs, Clubs, Discus will run again without any restrictions.

And the city that used to call 'never sleeps' will once again run at the same speed, Suri said in her report.
