A total of Rs 11.48 crore remained unspent with the Delhi MPs, as the 16th Lok Sabha came close to an end, with highest amount with Manoj Tiwari, MP from North East Delhi, according to an official data from the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLAD). While Tiwari had an unspent balance of Rs 3.16 crore, the second in the list is New Delhi MP Meenakashi Lekhi with Rs 3.05 crore.

Union Minister and MP from Chandini Chowk Harsh Vardhan had only Rs 0.01 crore in his unspent balance.

In terms of fund released, MP from North West Delhi Udit Raj got maximum of Rs 22.50 crore, while least amount of Rs 7.50 crore was sanctioned to South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri.

Raj also topped the expenditure incurred list by expending Rs 26.41 crore. With an expenditure of Rs 24.27, Lekhi came second.

West Delhi MP Parvesh Sahib Singh expended least at Rs 11.53 crore.

The unspent balance of Rs 0.19 crore is with Raj, while East Delhi' MP Maheish Girri have 0.73 crore. Bidhuri has Rs 1.69 crore as unspent balance and Singh left with Rs 2.65 crore.

An equal amount Rs 17.50 crore was released to Tiwari, Lekhi and Girri. Singh got Rs 12.50 crore from the government, while Vardhan got Rs 10 crore.

In terms of expenditure incurred, Girri used Rs 17.55 crore, Tiwari used Rs 15. 27 crore while Vardhan used Rs 14.08 crore. Bidhuri, on the other hand, only used Rs 13.87 crore.
