Mission Mangal box office collection: The earnings of the Akshay Kumar, and Vidya Balan starrer film remained steady at the box office even as it embarked on third week. The film's collection has been consistent ever since its release. The Jagan Shakti directorial has now closed the gap on 2.0. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the lifetime earning of 2.0 is Rs 189 crore, which is very close to the Mission Mangal's earnings of Rs 187.20 crore in India business.

On the opening day, the movie made over Rs 29 crore at the box office, which is the second-highest after Salman Khan's Bharat in 2019, which earned over Rs 40 crore on the first day. It took only three days to reach Rs 50 crore, five days to reach Rs 100 crore and in eight days it managed to earn Rs 187 crore at the box office.

The movie has received good responses from the audience. Being a science movie, it has caught the imagination of children. Besides Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, the movie also features actors like Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H G. Dattatreya, and Vikram Gokhale.
