Mission Mangal box office collection: The Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer film is doing brisk business in the overseas market. The film has also put up great numbers at the box office in India. The movie has broken many of Akshay Kumar's own records. The film reached the Rs 150-crore mark in India business within a span of just 11 days. The movie has so far garnered Rs 168.48 crore. However, the collections fell to Rs 3.87 crore on Monday over the earnings of Rs 13.32 crore on Saturday and Rs 15.30 crore on Sunday.

In the overseas market too, the movie is doing good. Till August 25, 2019, the movie has mopped up $5.85 million or Rs 42.01 crore from the overseas market. In the US and Canada only, the movie grossed $2.73 million. In the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), it managed to mop up $1.6 million.

The movie is based on ISRO's Mars Orbiter mission. The movie received a great number of children in the audience.  Besides Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, the movie also features Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, and Sharman Joshi in the important roles. The film has been well-received by the audience.
