Trade analyst and noted film critic took to Twitter to share the collections. He wrote, "#Manmarziyaan remains on the lower side on Day 4 [Mon]... Fri 3.52 cr, Sat 5.11 cr, Sun 5.70 cr, Mon 2.10 cr. Total: ₹ 16.43 cr. India biz."

The movie starring Taapsee Pannu, Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal had collected Rs 3.52 crore at the Indian box office on its opening day. Written by Anurag Kashyap, the directors along with the actors failed to weave magic on the screens.

However, the Rajkumar Rao and Shradha Kapoor starrer Stree is giving a tough fight to Manmarziyaan and still running strong in the Box Office. This horror comedy Stree has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in the box office on the 16th day of release.

According to media reports, originally, Bhumi Pednekar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Dulquer Salmaan were cast to play the lead roles in Manmarziyaan.  But soon the original cast was replaced with the new one. Junior Bachchan, Taapsee and Vicky have not worked together on the big screen and this adds to the freshness of the film.
