Maharashtra SSC Result 2020: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) is likely to declare board results for Class 10th soon on mahresult.nic.in and maharashtraeducation.com. The results (Maharashtra 10th Result 2020) may be declared by early next week. The Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had indicated a few days ago about the declaration date of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) to be around last week of July.

An estimated 17 lakh students have appeared for Maharashtra 10th Board Examination 2020 and are eagerly waiting for the results. The Maharashtra Board had on 16 June declared the board exam results for Class 12th.

After the declaration, the results can be seen online on the official website maharesult.nic.in.  

The Maharashtra Board class 10th exams started on 3 March. On account of the nationwide lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic, the exam for Geography which was scheduled on 23 March could not happen. Later, the board had to cancel the exam considering the risks. The state board had indicated that it will give marks according to average of marks obtained by the students in other subjects.

Maharashtra SSC Result 2019:

In the MSBSHSE 10th Board Results 2019, around 77.10 per cent cleared the examinations. The girl performed better than the boys in the exams. The pass percentage for girls stood at 82.82 per cent while the pass percentage for boys was around 72.18 per cent.

This year’s class 12 result of the Maharashtra Board was better than the last year and around 4.78 per cent more students passed in this year’s exams. The girls outperformed the boys by 5.84 per cent. Overall pass percentage in case of girls was 93.88 per cent while the pass percentage for boys was around 88.04 per cent.

The Science stream produced the best results with 96.93 per cent students getting passed. In arts, the pass percentage was 82.63 per cent, while it was 91.27 per cent in commerce and 86.07 per cent in MCVC.
