Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Election Results 2022: The alliance of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Eknath Shinde faction of Shiv Sena has taken lead over rivals MVA which comprises NCP, Congress and Uddhav Thackeray faction of Shiv Sena in the Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Election results 2022.

Polling took place on Sunday at 51 talukas in 17 districts to elect Sarpanch and Panchayat members. The 17 districts where Gram Panchayat election took place are Nandurbar, Dhule, Jalgaon, Buldhana, Akola, Washim, Amravati, Yavatmal, Nanded, Hingoli, Parbhani, Nashik, Pune, Ahmednagar, Latur, Satara and Kolhapur. 

Meanwhile, elections for 1,166 Gram Panchayat in Maharashtra will take place on October 13. The 1,166 Gram Panchayats are spread in 18 districts. The polling will take place to elect Sarpanch and Gram Panchayat members.

Voting will be conducted in all the villages going to polls on October 13 from 7.30 am to 5:50 pm. In the Maoist-hit areas, polling will end at 3 pm. Counting of votes will take place on October 14.
