Maharashtra Board Results 2020: On Tuesday, Maharashtra education minister Varsha Gaikwad announced that the HSC and SSC results can be expected to be announced by mid-July and end of July respectively. Students can expect MSBSHSE to announce HSC Results for 12th Class students by 15th July, whereas SSC Results for Class 10 students will be declared by June-end. However, no dates are been confirmed by the board so far.

The clarification about the tentative declaration dates for Maharashtra SSC Results 2020 and MSBSHSE HSC Results 2020 was provided by State School Education Minister Gaikwad to resolve any confusion among the students. 

Nearly 20 lakh students, who have appeared for the examination have got the relief from this  announcement.

Evaluation Process:
Due to coronavirus pandemic and the following lockdown, the evaluation work was postponed across the state, which led to delay in the declaration of Maharashtra Board Exam Results 2020. The state government has also taken several initiatives to expedite the process and hopes to complete the evaluation work by 1st or 2nd week of July 2020.

Last year result:
Last year, HSC Results 2020 were announced on 28th May while SSC Results were declared on 8th June 2020.

This year, over 13 lakh students have appeared for HSC Exams while around 17 lakh students have appeared for SSC Exams. The HSC Exam 2020 for Class 12 students was held before the lockdown was announced on 23rd March 2020 and therefore all papers were held. On the other hand, SSC Exam was impacted due to the lockdown leading to cancellation of the pending Geography paper. The students will be awarded an average of their marks in other subjects as their score in Geography.
