The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education has made some changes in class 12 exam patterns. At least 25 per cent questions in the HSC exam question paper would be objective and multiple-choice type, a notification stated. This year, the final assessment will be for 600 marks instead of 650 marks. The candidates can check the evaluation scheme on the official website - mahahsscboard.in.

The education board has begun the registration process for the class 12 examination. The process of registration will continue till October 23, 2019. The education board has introduced also practical component for all subjects in class 10. For class 10 students internal assessment has been re-introduced and with this theory examination will carry 80 marks and internal assessment will carry 20 marks.

Of 20 marks in internal assessment, 5 marks have been assigned to listening skills and 5 marks have been assigned to oratory skills. The education board, however, yet to release time table 2020 examination.

The board examination will be held in February-March next year. Every year, about 14 lakh students register for Maharashtra Board HSC examination. The students should visit the official website for any latest update.
