But there is no need to get panic after losing your PAN Card as anyone may obtain a reprint of the same by following a few simple steps.

However, these steps are applicable for those who have already been allotted a PAN number, only then the duplicate copy of that PAN card will be issued.

There are two ways to get another PAN card.

Here is how you'll get it back

Step 1: Visit the website - https://www.tin-nsdl.com/

Step 2: Search for Online PAN Services available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click that option. A drop box will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Select the 'Apply for PAN Online option.

Step 5: A page will appear. Search for 'Reprint of PAN Card' and click on 'here'.

Step 6: 'Request for Reprint of PAN Card' page will appear.

Step 7: Fill in all your details and click on submit option.

Step 8: Select the option of OTP on E-mail ID or Mobile Number and Verify.

Step 9: Pay a nominal fee of Rs.50.

Step 10: A message will come on your mobile. You can also download e-PAN through this message.

Step 11: The PAN card will be dispatched to the communication address as per the latest details available with the Income Tax Department.

Alternative option

Here is how you'll get it back

Step 1: Visit the Income Tax PAN website - https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN/reprint.html

Step 2: Select the 'Reprint of PAN Card' option available on the homepage.

Note: This option is only available for those who have already been allotted a PAN number.

Step 3: After selecting the link, a form will appear.  

Step 4: Fill out the form completely and correctly.

Step 5: After that, you have to pay Rs 50.

Note: Payment can be done through any credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.

Step 6: The reprint copy of the PAN card will be delivered to the communication address available with the Income Tax Department
