LIC AAO 2019 Recruitment: Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has invited online application from interested candidates for as many as 590 vacant posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO - Generalist/IT/Chartered Accountant/Actuarial/Rajbhasha) on its official website- licindia.in. Those who are interested can submit their applications by March 22, 2019. Aspirants, however, should go through details available on the website and then submit their applications.

According to AAO Notification 2019, candidates should know that process for online submission of forms has already started on March 2, therefore, aspirants are advised to complete the formalities prior to the last date, March 22, to avoid last minute rush. 

Candidates would be able to download their call letter for Online Preliminary Examination from April 22 to April 30, 2019, Online Examination – Preliminary is expected to fall on 4th and 5th May 2019. Notably, Online Examination for Mains would tentatively be held on June 28, 2019.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2019: How to apply 

Interested candidates should submit their applications through the online mode on or before March 22, 2019. They must take a printout of the finally submitted online application for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria 

1. Educational Qualification:

AAO (Generalist/CA/Actuarial): Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

AAO (IT): Candidates should have Graduation degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics, or an MCA, or an MSC(Computer Science) from a recognized University.

AAO (Rajbhasha): Candidates should have Post-Graduate Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects in Bachelor’s Degree level or Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects in Bachelor degree Or Post Graduate in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects in Bachelor’s degree.

Age Limit: Candidates should be in the age group of 21 to 30 years, and they would be able to avail of age relaxation as per govt norms.

Selection Procedure: Candidates for Assistant Administrative Officers will be selected through a three-tiered process followed by pre-recruitment Medical examination.
