KVS Recruitment 2018: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has invited online application forms for the recruitment of teaching staff in various categories, including Principals, Vice Principals, PGT, TGT, Librarian, Primary Teacher, and Primary Teacher (music), from today. According to the official notification, interested candidates have to take written test through offline mode.
 
For Principal's post, there are 76 vacant positions, while there are 220 posts for Vice Principal, PGT (592), TGT (1900), Librarian (50), PRT (5300), PRT (music) 201 posts.
 
Eligible candidates can apply through the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan's official website -www.kvsangathan.nic.in. The registrations process will begin from August 24, and the last date to apply is September 13, 2018.  The date of the examination will be notified on the KVS website.
 
Interested candidates should follow the steps given below to submit their applications:
 
1. Candidates should apply only through the KVS's official website -www.kvsangathan.nic.in.
2. They need to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number, and they should also notice that email ID and mobile number should be active during the recruitment process, as all the information will be communicated to them through email or SMS.
3. Candidates must scan photograph, signature and thumb impression as the same would be uploaded while filling the application form.
4. Application fee will be paid along with the online form. For Principal and Vice Principal, the fee is Rs 1500, and for other posts, the fee is Rs 1000. Fee relaxation, however, has been provided to SC/ST/PH and Ex-servicemen categories.
5. Candidates must take a print out of their online application and affix a recent passport size photograph and keep it with them for their record. 
 
They need not send it to the KVS, but the printout will be required when documents will be verified prior to the interview along with self-attested copies of other certificates.

Notably, the written test will take place in 36 cities across the country, but the test for the post of Principal and Vice Principal will be held in Delhi only.
