Key Indian equity indices trade flat during early session
Key Indian equity market indices opened flat on Wednesday as investors await Federal Reserve`s decision on interest rates.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 7.36 points or 0.03 % higher during the early session.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was, however, trading 7.65 points or 0.09 % lower at 8,214.15 points.
The BSE Sensex, which opened at 26,707.91 points, was trading at 26,705.18 points (at 9.16 a.m.) in the early session, higher 7.36 points or 0.03 % from the previous day`s close at 26,697.82 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 26,736.34 points and a low of 26,688.36 points in the trade so far.
