Karnataka Unlock Latest News: The Karnataka government on Sunday allowed cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes in the state to be reopened with 50 per cent capacity from today, July 19, 2021.

News agency ANI has tweeted about the state government's decision to reopen the cinema halls. theatres and multiplexes. ANI tweeted, "Night Curfew to continue from10 pm to 5 am in the State. Cinema halls/multiplexes/theatres... permitted to operate with 50% capacity: Govt of Karnataka."

 

ANI has also tweeted that the COVID-19 guidelines will remain in force in the state of Karnataka till 6 AM of August 2, 2021. However, the colleges have been permitted to open in the state from July 26, 2021. The ANI tweet said, "COVID 19 guidelines to remain in force in the State up to 6 am of Aug 2. Colleges permitted to re-open from July 26. Only students,teaching, non-teaching staff who have taken at least 1 dose of vaccine will be allowed to attend. Students' attendance is optional: Govt of Karnataka."

 

It must be noted that the night curfew will remain in place from 10 PM till 5 AM. As per the order issued by the state government, the colleges and institutions pertaining to the Department of Higher Education have been allowed to reopen from July 26, 2021, by strictly adhering to the COVID-19 protocols. Furthermore, the students, teaching and non-teaching staffs who have taken at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine will be allowed to attend the colleges and institutions.

In addition to that all skill development trainings including long-term technical courses have been permitted strictly adhering to the COVID-19 protocols. In this case also, the students, teaching and non-teaching staffs who have taken at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine will be permitted to attend the institutions.
