Kabir Singh box office collection day 7: It won't be a surprise if Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh manages to enter Rs 200 crore club by the end of its second week. The way film is going at the box office right now, sky is the limit for this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. Kabir Singh has just finished a dream first week at the box office, raking in a massive Rs 134.42 crore by the end of first week. The film had released to a great opening and has maintained the momentum throughout the week. It added another Rs 13.61 crore to its collection on Thursday.

The weekday collections also come as a major eye-opener for the industry which believes that a big weekend is a must for a hit tag. "#KabirSingh wave grips the nation... Total: ₹ 134.42 cr. India biz," movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Friday morning.

In another tweet, Adarsh said that the film's business at multiplexes and single screens has been phenomenal. He said that Kabir Singh is doing exceptionally well across India which is a rarity. 

"#KabirSingh gets a big thumbs up from moviegoers... Week 1 biz is nothing short of magical... Biz at multiplexes and single screens, metros and mass belt, every circuit is phenomenal... Has amassed massive numbers PAN India, which is a rarity these days," Adarsh tweeted. 

With this, Kabir Singh has registered the second biggest week for a Bollywood film in 2019, only to behind Bharat.

The recently released Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, had earned Rs 180.05 crore in its first week. Notably, Bharat had released on Wednesday due to Eid and had an extended weekend of nine days. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari is third on the list with Rs 134.42 crore to its name in eight days.
