Kabir Singh box office collection: Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh is in no mood to slow down and is already an all time blockbuster by minting a whopping Rs 235.72 crore. The film is already in its third week and continues to outperform some of the later releases like Article 15 and Spider Man: Far From Home. On Sunday Kabir Singh earned Rs 9.61 crore, taking its overall collection to Rs 235.72 crore. With this, it has surpassed Salman Khan's Kick as well as Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express in the list of all-time highest grossers.  
 
The next target for Shahid Kapoor starrer would be Ranveer Singh's Simmba and Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri:The Surgical Strike' - the latter still the highest grosser of 2019. In its first week, Kabir Singh had earned Rs 134.42 cr. This was one of the biggest weeks for a film in this year. The Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy continued the good run even in the second week by minting Rs 78.78 crore. This has been followed by an impressive third weekend where the film has earned Rs 22.52 crore. "ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER," Adarsh added in another tweet. 

The film is doing exceedingly well even in the overseas market and is now the highest grossing Indian film [2019 releases] in Australia. It has surpassed Gully Boy, Uri, Bharat, Kalank, TotalDhamaal, even South biggies Petta and Maharshi. The film is continuing its stronghold despite facing competition from Ayushmann Khurrana`s `Article 15`, which released on June 28, in India.

The original blockbuster starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also directed the original film, `Kabir Singh` tells the story of a short-tempered surgeon Kabir Singh (Shahid Kapoor) who goes on a path of self-destruction, consuming drugs and alcohol after he cannot marry the love of his life Preeti (Kiara Advani).

The film also features Soham Majumdar, Arjan Bajwa, Suresh Oberoi, Nikita Dutta and Kamini Kaushal in pivotal roles.
