However, Sunday might see a further pickup in the collection.  The storyline revolves around a veterinary doctor's fights against an international poachers racket. The action-packed movie has a message that if all of us stop purchasing ivory products, it will help reduce the poaching of elephants and smuggling.

"#Junglee witnesses growth on Dat 2, but not substantial enough... Mass circuits remain consistent but finds the going tough in metros/plexes... Fri 3.25 cr, Sat 4.45 cr. Total: ₹ 7.70 cr. India biz," Film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh tweeted today.

The collection in the coming days will give a clear indication about how the film is going to do. The word of mouth may help it gain pace in the coming week. Besides Vidyut Jammwal and Asha Bhat, the movie features Atul Kulkarni, Makarand Deshpande, Akshay Oberoi, Pooja Sawant.

Junglee is Chuck Russell's debut Hindi film as director. Hit Hollywood films like The Mask, The Scorpion King, and Eraser are some of the films in his kitty.
