Job alert! JMI recruiting 332 guest teachers and professors; apply before July 15

JMI recruitment 2019: Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) has released an advertisement inviting candidates for 332 posts of guest teachers and contractual Assistant Professor for various departments and centers during the Academic Session 2019-20. The interested applicants need to submit the application before 15th of July. 

The vacancies are available in Engineering and Technology, Education, Natural sciences, and Social Sciences. To check the detailed information for the vacancies in various departments refer to the Advertisement No. 05/2019-20 Dated 08.07.2019 on the official website of the JMI (www.jmi.ac.in). 

The candidates for the Faculty post of Engineering and Technology should have Bachelor of Engineering or bachelor of Technology degree and M.E. or integrated M. Tech in relevant branches with first class or equivalent in any one of the degree. While, the candidate for Candidates should have Master's Degree in concerned subject with 55 per cent marks and M. Ed. with at least 55 per cent marks and any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC.

For the faculty posts of  Natural sciences, and Social Sciences, The candidate must have a Master degree with 55 per cent marks in a concerned subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Besides these, the candidate must have cleared NET exam or similar exam like SLET/SET or have been awarded by Ph.D degree in accordance with UGC. 

The salary for the mentioned posts will be as:

*Assistant Professor (contractual)- Rs. 64,500 per month
*Guest teacher (regular course)- Rs. 1500 per period
*Guest Teacher (Self-financed course)- Rs. 1000-1500 per period
