JNU BA, MA Entrance Exam 2018 results date: The Delhi-based Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will soon release the entrance examination results for Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours and Master of Arts (MA) courses. The results of the entrance examinations conducted for admission to research courses were also declared and the viva-voce process is going on currently. TheJNU candidates can check their entrance results at admissions.jnu.ac.in.
 
According to a notification posted on the website of JNUEE 2018, "The result of JNU Entrance Examination 2018-19 for BA (Hons) 1st year and Master's programmes (where viva voce is not prescribed) will be declared shortly." JNU organised the entrance examinations for the academic year 2018-19 to its various undergraduate, graduate, MPhil and PhD programmes on December 27-30, 2017. The varsity has 10 schools that contain 41 diverse centres of studies and five special centres of studies. The central university's JNUEE is therefore a mammoth exercise to select the best students from across the country, said a statement from the university.
 
The entrance examination was advertised on September 9, 2017; prospectus was uploaded on the website on September 15, 2017, while the final date to submit application was October 17, 2017. It may be noted that about one lakh candidates registered for the examination organised for 131 fields of study. The number of candidates has increased this year in comparison to the last year when 73,725 candidates appeared for the exams, thereby, witnessing an increase of about 170 per cent. 
 
As many as 81 examination centres in various cities and towns of variour states and Union territories have been earmarked in the country by the university besides one centre in Kathmandu.
