The "Jaya He safari", launched in 2017, is a unique service offered free of cost, involving a brief 15-minute tour of various artefacts and installations across four levels at the airport museum. This initiative gives travellers a chance to get a glimpse of the country’s rich cultural heritage, by giving them an opportunity to view over thousands of artworks, created by over hundreds of artisans from across India.

Speaking about this achievement, MIAL spokesperson said, “The Jaya He safari was curated to commemorate the vast diversities of India’s cultural industries. We take pride in giving Indian artists and artisans a platform to exhibit their talents and take delight in being recognised for this unique initiative.”

The Jaya He Museum, which was conceptualized as an extension of exclusive Indian aesthetic of the Terminal 2, is an exceptional vista where past, present, and future come together to create one of the largest public art platforms, where modern technologies fuse effortlessly with traditional knowledge, the statement said.

The Award was declared by an eminent Jury under the Chairmanship of Justice (Dr) Arijit Pasayat, former Judge, Supreme Court of India, and was presented by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Hon'ble Cabinet Member & Minister of Tolerance, Govt. of UAE.
