ITBP Recruitment 2019: Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Group ‘C’ on temporary basis at its official Website- www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in through a prescribed format between April 22 and June 21, 2019. The posts are likely to be made permanent against Sports Quota. Those who have participated or won medal(s) in Olympics Game, Asian Games/ Commonwealth, Asian championship/ Commonwealth, Youth Olympic in the past two calendar years are eligible to apply for the post.

According to ITBP notification, vacancy details for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Group ‘C’ include 121 posts for Athletics, Water Sports, Boxing, Wushu, Shooting, and Wrestling.

Eligibility Criteria for ITBP Constable post; Interested candidates should have completed Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; Players who have participated or won medal (s) in various level of competitions. Candidates must visit the ITBP's official website to know the details related to recruitment along with other eligibility rules prior to submission of their application.

Age Limit: Candidates should be in the age of 18 to 23 years. 

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST) and detailed medical examination. 

Raised on October 24, 1962, ITBPF is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh, covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning border outposts on altitudes ranging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western, Middle and Eastern sectors of the India-China border.
