ISRO Recruitment 2019: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has invited application for vacant positions available for engineers at its centre in Ahmadabad. According to the official notification, interested candidates can submit their application at the official website: www.sac.gov.in till April 30, 2019. The registration process has already started from April 1, 2019. The ISRO notification has clearly stated that those who had applied for the same positions on the advertisement issued last year from 10th March 2018 to 11th May 2018 need not apply again this year.

According to the notification, interested candidates should be PhD in topics related to fields of Electronics/ VLSI/Microwave and ME/MTech with specialisation in Electronics/Electronics & Communications/Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electrical & Electronics as well as BE/BTech in Electronics/Electronics & Communications/ Electronics & Telecommunication/Electrical & Electronics.

The selected candidates for the ISRO job will be eligible for a salary in the level 11 in the pay matrix, which comes at Rs 67,700 to 2,08,700, along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting. This will be paid to those who are not availing Department Housing and Transport facility, as per the notification.

The notification stated that the jobs are are provisional, and encouraged women candidates to apply. There is also no upper age limit for the posts. 

Notably, the mode of application will be online only, and all other intimation will be made through the official SAC website or email. Candidates are advised to putforth only those email addresses and phone numbers that they are using.

Applicants will be receive an online Registration Number, which they should carefully preserve for future reference. They are also advised to take a printout of the online application form for future reference, the notification said, adding that the posts are temporary but they are likely to be continued indefinitely.

Candidates should know that having the prescribed eligibility does not qualify them for the job. They will be screened on the basis of their online application and then shortlisted for interview.
