Isro recruitment 2018: In a big drive that would be of interest to those who want a government job, Isro has launched a recruitment drive for many vacant posts. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Department of Space (DOS) has invited applications for the posts of Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographers in Level 04 of Pay Matrix. These recruits will be deployed in various ISRO Centres or Units across India. The Isro recruitment application, online registration, has started from April 10 and the last date of application submission is April 30. Candidates may visit ISRO official website isro.gov.in to register their applications online. 
 
 The Isro recruitment candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may visit the website and follow procedure as stated. ISRO notification says applications will be received online only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided an online Registration Number, which should be preserved for future reference. Applicants have to have an E-mail ID. For those who are employed under central/state government, public sector undertakings or autonomous bodies,  online application has to be followed-up with a `No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned.
In the  Isro recruitment 2018 drive, there are total 166 vacancies for the positions of Junior Personal Assistant and 5 vacancies for the positions of Stenographers.

From these Junior Personal Assistant vacancies, 100 posts allotted to the General Catagory, 35 posts to the OBC category, 21 and 10 positions, respectively, to the SC and ST. Besides that, there are also three vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities for the Junior Personal Assistant positions.  Out of PWBD vacancies in Thiruvananthapuram Zone, 03 are backlog vacancies (01 each for HH/VH/OH). If HH/VH/OH candidates are not available, UR/OBC and SC candidates will be considered against the vacancies and the reservation will be carried forward.
Junior Personal Assistant vacancies are for Ahmedabad, Bengalore, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Sriharikota, and Thiruvananthapuram and the Stenographers vacancies are for Bengalore.

Isro recruitment 2018: Eligibility
Graduation in Arts/Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class.
A minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Stenography with conversant use of Computers or Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with First Class with one year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer and minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Stenography.
The candidate has to be conversant in the use of Computers.
Isro recruitment 2018: Age limit
18-26 years as of April 30 and 31 years for SC/ST candidates and 29 years for OBC candidates. Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Widows; divorced women and women separated from their husbands and not remarried; Meritorious
Sportspersons are eligible for age relaxation.
Isro recruitment 2018: Application Fee
 
Rs 100 for each application. Candidates may make the payment ‘online’ using Internet Banking/Debit Card or ‘Offline’ by visiting nearest SBI Branch. Candidates after submitting their application can pay application fee immediately or any day before the last date for fee payment is May 2, 2018. However, candidates are advised to make online payment by April 30 to avoid any unforeseen transaction failures/issues. Candidates can also use alternative methods of payment (Offline payment). Ensuring a ‘successful payment’ from “Payment Status” link in ISRO’s website is mandatory for the candidates. Women candidates, SC, ST, Ex-serviceman and
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
