Apart from this, a separate column has also been introduced in the reservation form for a medical facility. Under this provision, if a passenger wants any kind of medical aid during their train journey, they can fill in the option to seek immediate help in case of deteriorating health. For pregnant women, there is a provision to provide them lower berths.

Not just booking Indian Railways tickets, Aadhaar card will now be necessary for even renting a house, as it will be required in the verification process.
