IRCTC Tourism Hyderabad Tour Package: From price to duration, all you need to know

IRCTC Hyderabad Tour: IRCTC Tourism has come out with its latest offering of a three nights and four days tour package to Hyderabad at a starting tariff of Rs 13,995 per person. According to IRCTC Tourism's website - irctctourism.com, the "Splendid Hyderabad Air Package with Ramoji Film City" will begin from Raipur on November 9, 2019, and the package includes visits to places including Ramoji Film City, Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga, Golkonda Fort and Charminar. Notably, IRCTC tourism is an extension of the online ticketing arm of the Indian Railways Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

The IRCTC tourism website gives details about the cost of the package, itinerary and destinations covered under this tour Package. The cost of package including airfare and stay at a three star hotel is Rs 20,545 per person on a single occupancy basis, Rs 15,355 on a double occupancy basis, and Rs 13,995 on a triple occupancy basis. Those who are interested in this tour package should know that a tariff of Rs 13,500 with bed is applicable per child, in the age group of 5-11 years, with bed, and Rs 12,390 without bed, it added. 

According to irctctourism.com, travellers will stay at Aditya Hometel or a similar hotel in Hyderabad, and will be facilitated transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle to all the destinations. Notably, the tour package includes travel insurance, sightseeing, excursion, guide services and meals as per the itinerary.

Splendid Hyderabad Package Itinerary

1. On the first day, travellers will depart from Raipur to Hyderabad on IndiGo's 6E 827 flight at 9:05 am, and upon arrival at Hyderabad, they will visit QutubShahi Tombs and Golkonda Fort, besides visiting Chowmohalla Palace, Charminar and Mecca Masjid on the same day. After that, they would be checked into the hotel for overnight stay, according to IRCTC Tourism.

2. On the second day, travellers will have breakfast at the hotel, and then would be taken for a day-long trip to Ramoji Film City. They would return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

3. The third day will commence with an early morning visit to Srisailam Jyotirlinga--Mallikarjun Temple, and travellers would receive their packed breakfast on the way. The return will be made late in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

4. The fourth day's itinerary begins with an early morning breakfast, and then travellers would be checked out of the hotel. They would then go for a visit to Birla Temple through a drive on the Necklace road, and then visit Salar Jung Museum till 12 pm. After having lunch, traveller would depart for Airport to board IndiGo 6E-297 flight at RGI airport by 3 pm from Hyderabad board, according to the IRCTC website.

Notably, the tour package excludes tickets for monuments, portage at hotels, tips, insurance, mineral water, telephone charges, laundry and all items of personal nature, said the website, adding that any additional meals/en route meals, sightseeing and activities other than those mentioned in the itinerary will also be excluded.
