Indian Railways had in December introduced a super deluxe Buddhist Circuit Tourist Train which covers pilgrimage sites associated with the life of Gautam Buddha. The new train offers an enhanced travel experience with dedicated dining cars, in-built library and sofa-seating in coaches. And now to increase the footfall on the route, the railways catering arm Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation is offering a discount of 50 per cent on one of the tickets for people travelling with their companions.
