IRCTC tourism's Regional Office, Bhopal has come out with a “Bharat Darshan” package which is one of the most affordable all inclusive tour packages, covering the important religious and leisure destinations by the Bharat Darshan special tourist train. Under this package, traveller will be able to visit Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanniyakumari and Trivendrum, according to information available on irctctourism.com. Notably, the itinerary will commence on July 7, 2019 and continue till July 16, 2019.

The package tariff will have Standard Category which will charge Rs 9,450 for Sleeper class train per person (including GST), while Comfort Category will charge Rs 11,550 for 3 AC class per person (Including GST), and the destinations covered under this tour will be Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanniyakumari, Trivendrum and  Mallikarjuna. The boarding points will be Rewa, Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Betul, Amla, Pandhurna, and Nagpur, while beboarding points will be Nagpur, Pandhurna, Amla, Betul, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna and Rewa, said the website. 

The Dakshin Bharat Yatra package will be covered through Train which will depart from Rewa at 9:30 hrs in SL class/ 3AC. The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch and Dinner.

Under this package, IRCTC offers journey through 'Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train', and the cost will include following:

1. Pure vegetarian meals.
2. Hall accommodation at places of night stay/ morning freshening up.
3. Tourist buses for visiting sightseeing spots.
4. Tour escorts for announcements and information.
5. Security arrangements for each coach (without arms).
6. An IRCTC Official on train as Train Superintendent.

Notably, travellers will informed about the train departure timings from the boarding stations along with the coach/seat no. 1-2 days prior to the date of journey. Passengers will also be able to contact the IRCTC offices for the train timing and the coach/seat no. Entrance fees/darshan tickets and guide charges at monuments are not included in the package cost, therefore travellers have to make own arrangements.
