IPL 2020 Final: After six weeks of exciting cricket, we are finally set to witness the IPL 2020 final where defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on the first time finalists Delhi Capitals. While Mumbai defeated Delhi in the first qualifier to reach the final, the Shreyas Iyer-led DC won against David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier. Having elected to bat first, Delhi Capitals posted 189/3 in 20 overs, with Shikhar Dhawan top-scoring (78 off 50). Marcus Stoinis (38 off 27 and 3/26) was awarded the player of the match for his all-round performance.

The IPL 2020 Final between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals will be played on November 10 ie, Tuesday. The match will start at 7:30 IST. In last year’s final, Mumbai Indians defeated the Chennai Super Kings by one run to clinch the title for fourth time.  

IPL 2020 Final venue 

IPL 2020 final will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. For those unaware, this year’s tournament only used three venues in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

The match will have individual battles as well with Shikhar Dhawan still in contention for the orange cap while Kagiso Rabada (29 wickets) can break Dwayne Bravo’s record (32 wickets) of most wickets in one season of the Indian Premier League. Meanwhile, if Mumbai Indians win, they will become the first side to lift the trophy for record five times.
