Railway recruitment 2019: The Indian Railways has issued a notification for recruitment of sportspersons under sports quota in Rail Wheel Factory, Bengaluru. Sportspersons with good track record may apply for these posts. The last date for submission of the application form is February 23, 2019. However, the last date for submission of the application for the candidates reside in northeast and Jammu and Kashmir is March 2, 2019. The applicants should apply in the prescribed format before the last date.

The candidates must go through the official notification before applying for the posts to make sure that they have all the requisite educational qualifications and experience for these jobs. 

Railway recruitment 2019: Vacancy details:
Cricket (Men): Medium Pacer, all-rounder, batsman
Hockey (Men):  midfielder and forward
Football (Men): Goalkeeper and forward
Kabaddi (Men): All-rounder and raider

Educational qualifications:
The candidates should be Class 10 pass and should hold  Nationa Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) by NCVT.

Salary: 
Pay Matrix level-1, 
Pay band: Rs 5200 -Rs 20200 plus Grade pay of Rs 1800

Age limit: 
The candidates should be between 18 years and 25 years of age. There is no age relaxation for the reserved category.

Selection process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the fitness test and interview. Trails are scheduled to be held between March 18 and March 22, 2019, at Rail Wheel Factory stadium at Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
